A: Yes. There are a number of ways that you can show support and monitor your student’s progress. You may access their account by going to https://courses.govhs.org/ and log in using their username and password. Click the ‘View my Progress’ link which will give you a detailed view of your students activity.
A: As long as you have internet access, you can access your course. However, if you know you will be away from internet access and unable to attend class, please contact your teacher directly via the ‘Private Topic’ within your course.
A: Yes. All assignments will be due by 12AM (EST) the Friday of each week. Any work turned in after that will be accepted but will be penalized. Late work is accepted for only 1 week.
A: Each VHS course has a highly-qualified Teacher leading the way. Your teacher is in your online classroom and will check into the course each day to assess your work, and the work of your classmates. Since everything is conducted online, your Teacher (and fellow classmates) could be anywhere in the country, or anywhere around the world.
A: Go to: https://my.vhslearning.org/PublicWelcome.aspx and click the ‘Forgot your Login and/or Password?’ button. This will reset your old password and a new one will be sent to the email address that you provide on the enrollment form. If at any point you’d like to change your password, you can log into your my.vhslearning.org account and select ‘Edit Account’ on the left hand side. Enter your old and new password for confirmation then select ‘Save’.
A: No. All materials that you will need will be provided to you online and are included within the course.
A: For questions regarding payment, please contact our Finance Department.
A: If you are on a special education plan and need specific accommodations, either the student or the parent is required to notify the VHS instructor during the first week of class so the proper arrangements can be made.
A: Payments must be made online at the time of registration. Students from a school that is an active member of the VHS program will be presented with three payment options during registration: Pay Online (i.e. Credit Card), eCheck, Invoice my School. All other students will be presented with two options: Pay Online (i.e. Credit Card) and eCheck.
A: The cost is dependent on the length of the course in which you enroll. VHS has two tiers:
- 4-week Courses for semester credit - $225 per course
- 8-week Courses for full year credit - $400 per course

A: Students must determine whether their school will accept VHS Summer School course credit for credit recovery or initial credit before registering for the course.

A: Once grades are finalized at the end of each course, students will be able to view and print their transcript by logging into their my.vhslearning.org account. Once logged in, click the “View Transcript” button located on the left-hand side. This will produce a PDF report of your transcript, entitled: Report.pdf.

A: There is no specific start time to each day. You may log in at any time that best fits your daily schedule.
